The Baroque World of Fernando Botero features 100 monumental paintings, sculptures, and drawings, which represent a selection of the best works from various stages in his development as an artist. Fernando Botero is a Latin American artist who
depicts the comedy of human life – moving or ironic, baroque in expression, sometimes with a mocking observation, and sometimes with deep, elementary emotion. He has created a world of his own with a blend of violence and beauty.
This exhibition provides the opportunity to investigate this talented artist through viewing some of his most renowned masterpieces, and by studying his most personal works of art.
